HOPE SF Arts and Healing Assessment

The HOPE SF Arts and Healing Assessment focused on the role art played in the lives of HOPE SF public housing residents and how creative expression could be an instrument of healing and community building. The assessment combined traditional data collection methods such as interviewing with an artistic process that engaged resident peer and youth leaders from all of the HOPE SF sites. This process served as an engagement opportunity to gather resident perspectives, build community within HOPE SF, and pilot a methodology that could be adapted and taken to scale within HOPE SF communities.
