Exploring divinity in art and collaboration in South Los Angeles

South Central Los Angeles Divine was a multidimensional project involving residents of South (Central) Los Angeles, students from West Vernon Elementary, and Six Months, a temporary art space founded by curator Eungie Joo and artist Kehinde Wiley. The project, while making art about/of divinity to cultivate an alternative reality, also catalyzed and reviewed definitions of divinity in the process.
